Uddhav Thackeray meets Raj Thackeray at his home for over two hours

Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) chief Uddhav Thackeray arrived at the Shivteerth residence today with his entire family and met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray. The two brothers are reported to have discussed several important issues.

The visit coincided with the birthday of Raj Thackeray's mother, and Uddhav Thackeray came to the house with his family on the occasion. Besides the warmth of a family gathering, the meeting has also acquired political significance.

In July 2025, Raj Thackeray had visited Uddhav Thackeray at Matoshree on the latter's birthday and met him. Since then, the two families have continued to meet regularly. At times Raj Thackeray has gone to Matoshree to see Uddhav Thackeray, and at other times Uddhav Thackeray has called on Raj Thackeray at his residence.

Uddhav Thackeray stayed at Raj Thackeray's Shivteerth residence for more than two hours, and the brothers spoke on a range of subjects. It is also reported that upcoming political equations were discussed. Political circles are now watching what the far-reaching consequences of the meeting will be.

The SIR issue is currently a heated one in the state. The Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) has taken an aggressive stand on it, and Raj Thackeray has also attacked the government sharply over the same issue. This has drawn even more attention to the brothers' long meeting.
