Mumbai real estate developer Rustomjee has announced the launch of a new tower at La Vie, its landmark residential project in Thane, in partnership with Keppel. The tower is the most premium offering in the eight-tower integrated community.

The standalone tower has 58 floors and will have 3 BHK flats of 930 to 980 sq ft. Every flat comes with a balcony. It is meant for buyers who want open views from height and a higher-end lifestyle. The tower has its own rooftop pool, and the design of the flats reflects La Vie's resort-style living.

Anupam Verma, project CEO of Rustomjee Urbania, part of the Rustomjee Group, said: "With steadily growing infrastructure, better connectivity and a strong social framework, Thane has emerged as the most established housing market in the MMR. As the city grew, so did the aspirations of homebuyers."

Verma added that the decision to buy a home today is no longer limited to the apartment. Buyers are looking for projects that offer a superior way of living with good open space and long-term value. In his view, this shift reflects the growing maturity of the market and the changing expectations of today's buyers.

Verma also said: "At Rustomjee, we have always believed that good homes are created when planned neighbourhoods that deliver a lifestyle are combined with thoughtful design. La Vie was conceived on this core idea of bringing resort-style living into an integrated community. This new tower is a natural next step from that thinking. It is a rare offering in La Vie, designed for more open space, privacy and striking views, while continuing to give the benefit of the larger ecosystem that has become the project's identity."

Ho Kiam Kheong, chief representative for Middle East and South Asia at Keppel, said: "The launch of the new tower rests on the firm partnership between Keppel and Rustomjee and the good response to the earlier phases of La Vie. By combining thoughtfully designed flats with the benefits of an integrated community, the tower offers a distinctive living experience in Thane. Together with Rustomjee, our aim is to deliver good homes that meet the changing wishes of homebuyers, with efficiency and ease of living at the centre."

The new tower at La Vie offers a more exclusive residential experience, with larger apartments and select lifestyle amenities. Each flat is designed for more privacy and open living. Select flats will also feature Rustomjee's signature pod concept. Residents will also be able to enjoy the full La Vie community, with landscaped open spaces, rooftop recreation facilities and everyday conveniences.

La Vie is located in Thane's established Majiwada micro-market, which has excellent connectivity and strong social infrastructure. This includes Mumbai Metro Line 4, which has a dedicated station at Majiwada, and Metro Line 5, which connects Thane with Bhiwandi and Kalyan.

The area has also gained greatly from current and upcoming projects such as the Anand Nagar-Saket elevated road and the proposed Eastern Freeway extension linking Chheda Nagar to Anand Nagar. These have made it easier to reach major employment, business and social hubs. The improvements are helping make Majiwada a well-connected location and are also helping sustain steady demand from genuine end-user buyers in the micro-market. Following the successful launch of La Vie and the strong response to it, the new tower marks the start of the next phase of premium residential offerings in Thane.
