The fifth and final match of the five-match series between India and the West Indies is to be played today. The match is due to begin shortly at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, but rain has disrupted proceedings beforehand.

Heavy rain is falling in Bengaluru at the moment, which has delayed the toss. If the start is delayed further, the number of overs will be reduced.

Four matches have been played in the series so far, and the two teams are level at 2-2. Today's match will therefore decide the series. Batters have dominated all four matches played so far, and teams have even chased down a target of 250 successfully. The weather and the pitch will play an important role in Bengaluru.

India will play a T20 International at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for the first time in two years. The pitch is expected to favour batters, as the stadium's boundaries are short and bowling will not be easy. However, because of the weather the pitch will be damp, which could help the fast bowlers in the early overs. Conversely, it will be difficult for batters to score quickly.

In the 10 T20 Internationals played at this ground so far, the team batting first has won four times, while the team chasing has won five. One match was abandoned because of rain.

The fifth T20I between India and the West Indies will be broadcast live on the Star Sports network on television, with commentary in several languages. Live streaming will also be available on the JioHotstar app and website. The match will also be telecast live on DD Sports.
