Horoscope for October 22: Ekadashi day forecast for all 12 zodiac signs

Today, October 22, 2026, is Ekadashi, and fasting is advised on the day. The Moon is in Aquarius. The Sun, Mercury and Venus are together in Libra, which is ruled by Venus. Mars and Jupiter are in Cancer, while Rahu is transiting Aquarius and Ketu is in Leo.

Worship of Vishnu is advised today. Those who observe the Ekadashi fast regularly should recite the Shri Vishnu Sahasranama. Make use of this occasion for charity and religious giving. Keep the form of your deity in mind and take the name with every breath. In the Kali Yuga, this is said to be the only easy and true life-giving remedy on the path of devotion, one that will wipe out the sins of many births and bring the infinite love of God. Love here means spiritual union. Those who are confused on life's path should resolve firmly on the right course while worshipping Shri Krishna, so that success comes easily.

Keep donating sweets, food and grain. Charity bears fruit only when done quietly; charity done for show destroys merit. On Thursday and Ekadashi, chant the name of Ram with concentration. The name of Ram belongs to the Supreme Brahman, who has both formless and embodied forms. If this auspicious name is kept on the tip of the tongue at every moment, life will be blessed. If possible, do not eat rice today and donate food. Sujit Maharaj explains how the day will go for each sign and what the lucky colour is.
