The commission probing alleged question paper and answer sheet leaks in nine MPSC competitive exams has asked candidates, students, the public and registered institutions for affidavits.

The state government has appointed an inquiry commission to probe alleged leaks of question papers or answer sheets in nine separate competitive examinations of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). The commission is now seeking information from the public.

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission Examination Inquiry Commission has appealed to anyone with information, evidence or a complaint related to these cases to submit it in the affidavit format prescribed by the commission. Candidates, students, members of the public and registered institutions can all submit their reports as affidavits by November 16, 2026.

To ensure statements are submitted clearly and correctly, the commission has also provided a model affidavit. Under it, those concerned must give their statement in Marathi or English and submit it to the commission along with a notarised affidavit.

The commission's office is in the Food and Drug Administration building, Room No. 201, second floor, BKC, Bandra (East), Mumbai-51. A copy of a valid identity document must be attached to the statement, along with self-attested copies of the relevant documents.

Submitting papers at the office alone is not enough. A copy of the notarised affidavit, the statement and the relevant documents must also be sent to the commission's email address, [email protected].

For necessary information or help with filing a complaint, people can call 022-20867677. The details were given in a press release by Mundhe, member secretary of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission Examination Inquiry Commission.

Anyone wishing to put their case before the commission must therefore keep three things in mind. First, the statement must be in Marathi or English and accompany a notarised affidavit. Second, a valid identity document and self-attested copies of documents must be attached. Third, everything must reach the commission by November 16, 2026, both at the office address and by email.
