Hasan Mushrif says his son, the outgoing Gokul chairman who lost the election, will not be among the four directors the government plans to appoint.

Navid Mushrif, son of Hasan Mushrif and the outgoing chairman of Gokul, has lost in the Gokul election. Satej Patil too did not get a majority in the election. For this reason, the government has decided to appoint four directors to Gokul.

There was talk that Navid Mushrif's name would be among these four directors and that he would return to Gokul through the back door. Hasan Mushrif has now put an end to such talk. Speaking to the media, he said clearly that his son would not go to Gokul.

Mushrif targeted Satej Patil. He said that if Patil has a majority, he should complete the quorum and elect his own chairman. He said he had not stopped anyone. But Patil would not be able to do it, because under Gokul's bylaws and rules a chairman is elected only after the quorum is complete. Without a quorum, neither can a chairman be elected nor can a meeting be called.

Mushrif said the government had decided to appoint four directors to end the deadlock. Even though the government has brought this law, neither his son nor anyone from another party will become a director at Gokul. There will be no back-door entry for his son, and only experts will be appointed there. He thinks the government will appoint to Gokul a worker who does not belong to any party.

He said the deadlock arose because of one bylaw and his opponents were not understanding this. The opponents could elect their own chairman or go to court, and no one had stopped them. Whatever the court decides should be respected. His question was when the deadlock would end and how power would pass into the hands of elected representatives. That was why this decision was taken. The government could have appointed an administrator, but it did not do so.

Mushrif alleged that venomous campaigning was carried out in this election through social media. According to him, the union is not that big, but it is being shown as very big on social media. He said that people from a secular party within the Congress ran a casteist campaign against his son. Poison was spread through social media, and among the members as well. Mushrif said all that could now be said was, "Friends are no longer friends."
