MNS president Raj Thackeray has deleted from social media his post of Sabir Bhatia's documentary. The documentary is about the friendship between Gautam Adani and Narendra Modi. According to Thackeray, a request was conveyed to him through the Mumbai Police Commissioner that the documentary be taken down. He said he was deleting the post out of respect for this request from the head of the Mumbai Police.

Thackeray said the documentary drew such a huge response after he shared it that it was natural for those at the top to panic and fear that their secrets would be exposed. But the fear must have been big enough that he was asked through the Police Commissioner to remove it, he said. According to him, what he had to say was already said at the January 2026 rally and now through the posting of this documentary. The aim was, and still is, to educate the country.

Thackeray clarified that the request he received is from the Mumbai Police Commissioner. He said the Mumbai and Maharashtra Police are the most efficient police force in the country and that he has always respected the police. For this reason, he said, he is honouring the police chief's request and deleting the post of the documentary.

He added that the fire that had to be lit has been lit. The spark he struck from Shivtirth in January 2026 against monopoly in the country has now become a forest fire, he said. According to him, the fight continues. His January 2026 post is still there and will remain. The documentary he shared was made by others, and the aim was to take it to the people, which has been achieved. On this occasion, he is bringing his earlier presentation back and releasing a part of the January 2026 presentation again. He appealed to people to watch it once more.

In his statement, Thackeray said the documentary he shared got more than 48 lakh views on Twitter alone and drew a huge response on Facebook too. These are figures from his own social media, he said. The shares by others and the views from them are beyond counting. He said Sabir Bhatia has made the documentary now, but before that, in January 2026, he himself had given a big presentation from Shivtirth in Mumbai. It showed how the Adani group was setting out to swallow the whole country. That presentation got an unparalleled response, he said. Those videos are still on his social media, and some clips from them have been used in this documentary as well.

Thackeray also reiterated his position. According to him, his opposition is not to any individual but to monopoly. He said he has often stated in his speeches that the Prime Minister should help many industrialists grow, so that the country generates large-scale employment and wealth, and should give many industrialists the strength to conquer the world. But if only one is favoured and that endangers the country, he opposed it and will continue to do so. So whether it is Adani or anyone else, anyone's monopoly will be opposed, he said.

He also mentioned Bhimashankar. According to him, the Centre has asked the state government to hand over a few hundred hectares of forest land at Bhimashankar to Gujarat's Torrent company. He alleged that the government has given many forest lands in Maharashtra to chosen industrialist friends and is preparing to give more. Thackeray said he is not concerned about who belongs to which party, but as citizens of Maharashtra, he finds it surprising that people do not feel angry watching Maharashtra being sold before their eyes. He asked whether Marathi MPs, MLAs and ministers do not feel angry seeing all this. According to him, bowing so low before power does not suit the history, tradition and culture of Maharashtra. He also asked why the show of making announcements in the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji and singing the Maharashtra anthem is kept up.
